Perilon sniffed

he felt very ill indeed

and very, very, very miserable

his head ached, his throat hurt

and his whole body ached so bad

that he felt as though whole

herd of wart hogs had trampled all over him

Perilon pondered over wether it was possible

for Jimmy wart hog from number 7

to of trampled him whilst he was asleep

silly, silly Perilon

He slipped his feet

into his favourite fluffy bunny slippers

and pulled on his dressing gown

Then he picked up his bright red tooth brush,

his bubble gum flavour tooth paste

and then fetched a glass of water

so that... like all good dragons,

he could brush his teeth..

Now even though poor Perilon felt so awful

that he was not hungry,

he knew, however, that breakfast

was the most important meal of the day

and so he fixed himself a cheese sandwich.

But when he went to take a bite

can you guess what happend?

" ahh ahh ahh choo "

another flame shot out of his nose

and hit the sandwich.

Right there and then it toasted it in a second

poor poor Perilon

he sniffed and ate the now toasted cheese sandwich

he smacked his lips with a loud, satisfied, pop

and followed it up with a nice cold glass of milk

Poor poor Perilon was miserable

and now not only was he sneezing

but he was shivering too.

He sniffed and went back to bed

and yet still..

he wouldn't take his medicine

The sound of laughter drifted in

through the bedroom window.

he padded over to the window

to see what he could see

Out side the sun was shining

and all his friends

were out enjoying themselves,

and here he was...

stuck in the house all alone.

"Come join us Perilon"

they shouted to him.

"Come out and play" they called,

as a bright blue balloon

they were batting to each other,

drifted past his window.

Perilon sniffled

and sadly shook his head

With a deep sigh

Perilon told his Friends

he couldn't come out to play

Perilon reached

out to bat the balloon back,

and can you guess?

that's right... "Ahhh ahhh ahhh choo"

and pop went the little blue balloon

he watched

as the remains of the balloon

slowly flutter to the ground,

then he took his pocket money

out of his piggy bank,

and threw it down to his Friends

Poor poor Perilon sadly

watched them go

as they ran off to buy a new one

He felt very lonely.

ahhhh ahhh ahhhh chooo,

he sneezed

and climbed back into his bed,

feeling about as sorry for himself

as he ever could.

and that was enough for Perilon

now he was feeling distinctly fed up

he grabed his medicine

from the bedside table

pinching his nose

so that he couldn't smell it

then pulled the ugliest,

most wrinkliest face you could imagine

and then quickly

gulped down the foul tasting brew.

with haste he poured himself a

cold chocolate milkshake

to chase away the nasty taste

and once again

"ahh ahh ahhh chooooo"

with another sneeze

it was instant hot chocolate

but it still chased away the nasty taste

and was very very yummy indeed

and do you know

within just a day or so

Perilon was out in the sunshine,

playing with all his friends

and he swore that from now on

he would always take his

medicine when he was meant to.

Though of course

Mrs Warg Worm still says to this day

that it was the magic

she had spun into the blanket

that had chased the cold away

i guess we will never know.
